Hm. Iconage.
Ok, so, looking at my icons, I realized that I'm getting dissatisfied with my default icon. I've had it for a while, and I need a better "I'm a librarian/editor/lover of books and grammar" icon. So I sort of wandered Google images and messed with a few on Picnik.com to make a few. ... If by a few I mean 18. *cough* So here they are, under the cut, with my disclaimer and requests for usage.
Here's the thing. None of these images were taken or created by me. So the lovely art? Not mine. So! While I am willing to take credit for the edits done to them, I am in no way taking credit for the art. The first three are art from the artists of the webcomic Questionable Content. (It's also one of my favorite t-shirts, but that's beside the point.) The other two images, I'm not sure who took the photos. If you have any idea, please tell me and I'll edit this post to put them in there.
That said, I would appreciate some credit for the icons.
On the other hand, I have NO problem with you wanting to use the textless icons as bases.
I would also love to have an idea of how well I've done with these, and what styles people like, so if you would please comment to this post remarking on ones you like and/or take, that would be marvelous.
