Okay I swear I haven't gone back to the elementary school classics but I was wondering if any one had ever stopped to consider exactly how many 'mysteries' the dear girl got her nose involved in and just how long it would have taken her to do this, using the timelines given by the books. I mean even if one were to discount the references to time of year and months given in the stories and just say case A took 23 days to solve and case B took 11 and so on and so forth. I think you would quickly, well maybe not quickly, realize that it would take something closer to the life span of a centurion to have solved all these cases and even then she may have had to work on some concurrently. Anyways were was I? Oh, right the plausibility of her solving something like four or five hundred cases in the course of something like a half dozen years.
