i passed my written CDL bus exam! the state examiner, bill, said (semi jokingly? dinna ken fully, the other durham student got a 90) that an 80 was passing but if you got less than a 94 he would advise the ADoE board to make you do it again. i thought i missed 2 possibly, i missed 3 by a misunderstanding. i got a 94. hit the exact mark! will do my pre, post, and road trip on wed. morning. wish me Kaplah! rather than good luck.

I learned today that nell carter was bi/closet homosexual. interesting. (she was, always) I always liked her. she was a good/funny lady. first marked her in my mind in 78 at the age of 8 remembering a local STL commercial where she was in the fats waller play/musical "ain't misbehavin'" (why did that lodge in my mind? i don't know). later saw her regularly in "gimmie a break", and was very pleased to see her when i checked out hair ('holy shit! she's in this?! hully crap! so is mrs. Edna Garrett (Charlotte Raehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Facts_of_Life_(TV_series) , as well! she's diggin' treat williams dancing on the table! awesome! and beverly d'angelo from National Lampoon's Vacation is in here as well? can it get and better? spiff!") I'm sorry you're dead nice lady, i liked you a lot and you had a VERY interesting, dichotic life. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nell_Carter (converted to judaism, married twice, addicted to cocaine, was a republican, supported george bush, living with a woman in her last days) Even thought you're long dead, I do miss you. even though I never met you, you were loved, very much

ps got the hogue grip for my 45 revolver, tried to put them on. can't get the pretty rosewood grips off! gonna have to take it to larrys, have the 'smith work on it, see if that will tame the recoil.

ending thought: 1994, skit, mst3k- "honk! honk! beep! beep! goverment gridlock!" 'supercalifragilisticexpialawacky'
