after 14 hours of unconsciousness

i have every intention of staying in Geneseo for the summer. regardless of whether or not i get a job, i'll be able to pay for rent...and maybe some food, and i'd rather struggle in starvation and poverty than move back in with my >shudder< mother. though hopefully it won't come to that. hence, the search for a summer job. so far i have checked with career services, applied at the telecommunications office, and asked around main street. i'm going to update my resume this week so i can turn it in to various employers. the penny saver seems to have some good opportunities, mostly in lima. eh, it's only a twenty or so minute drive. hell, maybe i'll work at wegmans. at this point i don't care. it's not like i'll have anything else to do. all i want is to make some money so that i can pay my grandpa and uncle tom back as soon as possible. and save up for next semester, so i can make it by until my financial aid begins.

dammit, this summer is going to be full of crap. on top of having to find a decent job, i have to make sure i have time off when ryan comes so we can be civilly wed. then i have to go through the legality of changing my name, insurance, credit cards, blah blah blah...>sob< why is it so complicated? i swear, sometimes i'd prefer that i didn't live in this era, when technology makes it possible, and necessary, for us to have so many connections (red tape...)

anyhow. if anyone knows of a place in geneseo that needs help, part time or full time, let me know.

let the hunt begin.
