As soon as the check clears I'll own my car 100%.
No more car payments.
Life is flying by at the speed of time, and it keeps going and going and going just like that Energizer bunny.
It's the end of July already. I can still remember the beginning of June, like it was yesterday. I've said it before and it still seems true: it seems like the older we get the faster time goes.
I'm still playing the waiting game. Even though time is flying by at an unusually fast rate, I'm still tortured by the waiting game. I'm waiting to graduate, I'm waiting to get a real job, I'm waiting for IRB approval. I'm waiting to move out. I'm waiting for my professor to email me. I'm waiting.
I have a six year old brother (he will be seven in less than a month). There is a four and a half year old boy who lives next door, and two brothers who are 5 and 7 who live across the street. For the past 3 weeks my brother has been outside all day, and by all day I mean all day. He goes out at about 11 or so and stays out until about 9:30 at night. He comes in to eat lunch and dinner and that's about it.
I cannot tell you what they do. I know there are tons of toys across my yard and the neighbor's yard. But they enjoy themselves all day.
I am so jealous of my little brother. Although he cannot feed himself, and cannot drive, or really use a phone or read very well, or do multiplication tables, he doesn't have a care in the world for the whole day.
That's back when summer vacation was summer vacation. Now it means you spend all your time working instead of going to school. Sometimes being grown up is not all it's cracked up to be.
But I don't have a car payment anymore.
But that's just my opinion I could be wrong
