the trip to new york was successful.

hannah is now officially my fiance!

also, we put 2800 miles on natalies car, drove all over new york, did lots of things, and had lots of fun!

Wow! You pulled absolutely no punches. Ouch!

You speak 100% truth but you I doubt you'll be able to sway someone who is young and strongly in love. Isn't it better to be supportative even if you don't agree with their decisidon?

I do wish him and her success, and I do wish them happiness, and I shall be supportive, and I know that I'll never sway someone so young and in love... But if my words cause them to think about it just a bit, then I am ok with it all.

do you truely think i would go into something like this without thinking about it first? it was the hardest decision i've ever made. i truely do love hannah and she is 'the one', if we waited till we were older to get married, we would go crazy or do something stupid.

i was the last person i ever expected to do such a crazy thing, i think i'm still as flabergasted as everyone else

Please do not get the wrong idea of what I am trying to say... Please know that I love you. You are family, and I love you. You have decided to do this, and you have my support. I wish you only the best.

You are a fine young man and I do not believe that you would have done "something stupid." Waiting, while it might be hard, could not hurt. I accept that you know what is best for you this regard. However, having a slightly longer, and different view on life and living, I can see things from another point of view.

I am truly looking forward to meeting your Hannah, whether it is here in Virginia, (is the family gathering still on?) or where ever that meeting shall take place.

i'm happy to hear that you think im a fine young man and that i wouldn't do anything stupid. i on the other hand don't trust myself, i know me too well . . .

thank you for your support, and i hope that the family will soon be able to meet 'my Hannah'. i really don't know if the family thing is still on for Virginia, i'm under the impression that it all depends on the Nelsons quickbuild.

but if you do not get to meet her then, i hope that you'll be at our wedding . . .

Well, I agree with almost everything you've said, though briefly--I do take exception to your remark that the congregations are littered with divorces. The 'national' averages, or whatever, are half of all marriages end in divorce, but I have no doubt that if you took Witnesses out of the equation, it would go up. And if you only looked at 'Witness marriages' it would be far fewer. I'm not trying to be smug or anything, just stating what are undoubtedly 'unresearched' facts

as i said before, i am the last person i ever thought would get married so young. but i am, and its the right decision. and i'm not getting married just because i don't want to do something stupid, i love Hannah, no matter what anybody says can change that. she's the person i'm going to spend the rest of my life with. and yes, we are planning on studing the family book together.

so please don't be so worried, i know you have to say all that because you love me, but i feel i made the right decision. that decision was so tough that it made me sick, for a week.
