Procrastinating... go figure.
Whee, I have just discovered that the Meine Liebe Wieder (anime) OST provides excellent theme music for writing The Hawk of May. And listening to Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto (another anime XD) while writing my samurai/kabuki-themed side-story is perfect, too. Now I just need to find one for Crucifix, my other side-story. :P
...Naturally, despite these discoveries, I have yet to do any real writing today. *sigh* I let myself get too into the new fall anime series - all of which are set about 18th-century onwards, and all but two of which are in Japan - which reeeeeeeeeeally makes it difficult to concentrate on writing a story that takes place in 16th century England. O_o This MLW OST is a good thing, though. Hopefully that'll keep me focussed even though MLW itself is post-17th century.
Aaargh, I've got to set aside my side-stories and concentrate on Edward. It's just so... hard... X_x
My goal for today: write at least one full page of HoM. At least. Gaaah, this chapter was supposed to be done on the 12th. I'm almost a month behind... ToT
Okay, gotta go watch Shounen Onmyouji and THEN I will write. Unless my algebra teacher writes back, in which case I will watch Shounen Onmyouji, THEN finish up that pesky question on exam 9, and THEN write.
...Hmm, I'm thinking my priorities need to be re-organized. :P
