Cursive is fucking amazing.
That's the headline of this entry. Cursive is so fucking good. Before I indulge in talking about that I'll review the last week or so.
I feel as though I've finally become a member of the New Paltz community on campus. I can go to the quad now and just hang out with people who I'm actually friends with. It's taken about three years of school and two years in New Paltz but I actually have a few people who I genuinely like and it's a great feeling. I was playing Frisbee and shit for hours on Friday and it was great.
Oliva's birthday party was Friday at my house up here and boy what a party it was. It was a little hectic at first but by the end of the night was ending up being a blast. Happy birthday you sonuvabitch.
And finally on Sunday I saw Cursive over in Poughkeepsie with Katie Hutt at the Polish Pub. Wow, what a show. First two bands were pretty good but Cursive blew them away. What an amazing set, too. Kicked it off with a new song, the set included A Gentleman Caller, Sierra, Big Bang, and so many others. Then for the encore they played three songs and ended it with Some Red Handed Sleight of Hand! Amazing! So good.
I'm in a great mood and I just registered for classes! Awesome, I love almost being done with school!
