I watched The Talented Mr. Ripley this week (yes, it took me a whole week to watch it) and three people died (among others), violently. I was like, whoa. This is not a happy Italy movie. I must next watch Roman Holiday again in order to get my fill of happy Italy movie-ness.
Anyone have some Italy movies to suggest? Jane, I've already seen A Room with a View, and yes, there is excessive and unnecessary male frontality. Ick.
