I found The Office fanfiction online, you guys! I was so essited! And then I realized every single story written and posted online featured the dramatic love of Pam and Jim. I saw a few Ryan/Kelly and one Dwight/Angela, and almost zero slash (most of it Jim/Dwight, which I thought might be amusing, but yeah, no. I was really looking for either

oh the dramatic love of "jam"... haha, the fanfiction is lame. :( i'm a nerd and read the stories when jim was lusting for pam because i was sad for him but he was always so emo. i don't think i could stand anymore. michael/ryan for the win!

i want a story of sprinkles coming back from the dead to haunt them all. now THAT is fanfiction!

I read one or two of the stories that were written after "money" because it was cute, and i still think jim and pam together is cute and i go all asquee in my happiness for jim. but there is only so much you can take of nonsense fluff before you start to feel ill. ah well.

i'm going to write an epic love triangle of dwight/angela/sprinkles.

I feel kind of bad because Pam and Jim (or Jam, which I think is hilarious) kind fo get on my nerves. I'm waiting for something to happen with them, seems like it will be pretty boring if they're just in love forever. The Brits ended with Tim and Dawn (Jam, respectively) never getting together. The people so wanted them to be a couple that they came back later and made a special episode to wrap up the story of that particular office...and of course Tim and Dawn (Tawn, for these purposes)got together. Did I just preach to the choir? You all probably know the British version of The Office like the backs of your tiny, artistic hands.

I read tonight on the internets in a newspaper article that NBC is considering showing the UK version of The Office if the writers strike goes on forever and ever. 9 TO 11 MONTHS THEY SAY!?!?!?!? What will happen to Conan?!!? What will Colbert do?!!?!!??!?! INSANITY! (I'm not sure why I am so worried about Conan OR Colbert, because I rarely watch either anymore)

Yeah, I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that Pam & Jim are not going to last that long, because things like that never last in television. Pam will probably end up with Kevin or something. :D But I've actually never seen The UK Office, and I am pretty excited that they are going to show it in that timeslot. It makes the fact that there are only two more episodes to come a bit more bearable. I'm pretty upset about the strike... The last one in '88 lasted 11 weeks. 11 WEEKS. with no new episodes of the office. boooo.
