of books and such
So tonight I was having an awkward "what are you doing with your life?" conversation with someone from work, and they asked the inevitable question for the english major: "And what are you going to do with a degree in English? Teach?" I almost cried. At least I do not have it as bad as Jayel's little brother, who told me he was majoring in creative writing. I laughed, and then realized he was serious. O_O
Sssppeeaking of english majors, I need books to read. I have run dry, and now it's either force myself to read "Naked Lunch" or blow a ton of money I don't have on new books. Bett, when you come home for Thanksgiving, we're going to Borders! and spending the entire night there! and maybe possibly seeing the Book 7 posters and salaaming the ground before them! Squeee! :)
