Interesting couple of days...

So the police came over last night, called in on "a domestic disturbance".

Wait, a domestic disturbance?

Yep.

As in you were screaming?

Nope, Emi was doing that.

Were you breaking stuff?

Nope, though Emi had shattered a couple of my dishes, as well as threw my tool kit down the garbage chute.

Did you, like, start barging into people's rooms and mess up their stuff?

Nope, though Emi went into my room, and starting doing that.

Ah...... So what happened?

Well, the police came, said I had every right to be there, but in order to prevent an escalation, it would be best if I left for the evening. I called Lise, and Max, and finally Derek, who lives in Brantford. Derek offered to pick me up, and he drove me back to his place. I couldn't sleep all night, and I was going to be late for work the next morning, but it was the only place I had left. When I got back to the apartment, I had found that the locks had been changed. I went down to the landlord's office, and she said that I had signed to be taken off the lease, effective immediately.

Did you?

How the hell could I have? I was busy outside waiting for Derek to arrive. Though, I did see Emi typing away at the word processor that night, and she was walking around like she knew what she was going to do, right before I left. I looked at "my" signature. The first thing that gave away that it was a fraud was simple, the "D". My "d"s are usually tugged from the top and ellongated. The one on the signature was scrunched up, the font was too small, and there was this irritating little whirly thing at the beginning of it. I explained that it wasn't mine, even said it was a pretty poor forgery. The police arrived, Emi arrived, Kimi arrived from Hamilton for some reason, Greg left for class, it was an all-out party. The police officer said that it looked like my signature, but that I also had a right to be in the apartment. Emi started arguing with the police officer saying that "she didn't trust me to be alone with her and the cats" (yeah, because I'm just some wild, psychotic beast ready to pounce when we're alone). So, long story short, I now have a key to the apartment where everyone hates my guts, I'll be looking for a new place of residence shortly, and things will hopefully clear up by the beginning of the chinese new year.

Points of Interest:

- I found it horribly ironic that a year after Emi saved me from Derek, Derek had saved me from Emi.

- This ALL started, because I un-padlocked the cupboards with a screwdriver.
