Ugh! This year is starting off with a bang, that's for sure. Though they are a beautiful mingling of small miracles with small irritants, it's just a matter on focusing on the miracles, and not letting the irritants get to you.
I started work with a big-fat raise this week, just barely any hours to work them. I will be getting more next week, though.
I started reading Anansi Boys the other day, it's opening is absolutely amazing. Just how embarrassing one's parents can be, even if they aren't being embarrassing. That kind of thing. I think I had a dream about that last night, where my mom said something REALLY embarrassing about me to someone, without realizing that it was taboo.
My charged objects are returning, one by one, and I am now only missing a couple. This is good, seeing as how they are well needed. So far, they are not breaking as rapidly as last year, I'm taking this as a good sign.
I found my daemon, while at my Dad's. They have this beautiful dog, female, white, BIG. Her name is Blizzard. She loves to play with people, though sometimes she plays a little too rough. She has the disguise of being a guard dog, but for the most part, she will approach any intruder with her belly up, hoping for a pet. She likes to bite, and won't stop, no matter how many times you tell her no. And she will escort you around the place when you're walking from the shop to the house. I can't stand the name Blizzard, but she is the best living personification of my daemon that I could have found.
Anyways, that's about it for now, kiddies. I promised myself that I would write more in livejournal, just to keep everyone informed, and my writing in shape. So hopefully you'll hear from me more often.
