(The video clicks on, shifting around a bit and blurry images flash across the screen before it settles and Reno comes into view. What's odd about him today is he's wearing his Turk uniform, complete with goggles.)
So, guess it feels like just about time. Didn't want to leave without a word, you know? I had some great times here... when I wasn't runnin' for my life, eating people, coming down with fleas, being haunted by my dad or turning into "insert whatever the hell you want here".
I put my stuff in storage, just in case anyone needed it or if I came back. Tseng, I sent ya a key to it. Take care of the cats, will ya? Claws has skin allergies and Itty Bitty's got ear mites. And don't give 'em that kibble crap.
(He pauses here, looking down at the floor, shifting awkwardly. It doesn't last long before he takes a deep breath and looks back up. He isn't sad, not by a long shot, but kind of smiling.)
Feels like a whole life went by. Maybe that's what this place is all about... gettin' a different outlook. I know I never figured on hangin' out with Cloud Strife as a drinking buddy and even... even as a friend, before I got here. Got to know a lot of different people, a lot of different worlds. Kind of makes me think we're not so bad off for the future back home.
Question is, what do any of us take back? Me, I think even if we forget this place, it's still there. Yeah, yeah, doesn't make sense but I ain't gonna go into it too deep. The City is just kinda one of those places that get stuck in your head.
(Standing up straight, he salutes the camera with his EMR in hand.)
