Ha! Returning.
Thanksgiving was interesting. The actual event was sort of panic-attack inducing, actually, because there were so many people all over the house, including a baby and a 4 year old boy. However the rest of the weekend was nice, I got to hang out with my family and do a lot of fun things with my cousins and sister, plus my dad lent me a lot of really good comics and I finished a glove. The blue ink notebook kind of suffered, but I think I'm allowed to have a few days off for family, right?
Ladies and gentlemen, if you get the chance, read a comic called The Ballad of Halo Jones. It starts off kind of annoyingly over-sci-fi, with made up slang and stuff, but as it goes along it gets into some really deep and beautiful comentary about war and adventure and escaping your hometown. Also the main character is a girl who is totally normal and, for the most part, doesn't wear skintight bullshit. It was very exciting.
Also: I have returned with a lot of bad high school poetry, which I am in the process of typing up. I'm serious in my request for bad high school poetry, by the way. It must be legitimately from high school, you can email it to me at one_silent_thing@yahoo.com and I will be super wicked happy and publish a little zine.

Early in the school year sometime, but no I wasn't drunk.
2. If the last person you kissed told you that kissing you was a mistake what would your reaction be?
I would be kind of upset and hurt, because we appear to be dating..

Both the last person I dated and the last person I slept with are in a relationship, and I'm totally cool with it.
4. What is something you love about being the gender that you are?
My boobs! Also being queer is pretty fun, and if I were a guy I'd still be queer, but somewhat less so.

Uhhhh that she is going to Reed right now? I'm going with length of friendship to define best friend here, because there are a lot of people I'd consider "best" friends.

Uh, god, I don't know. I'm sure Florence and I said some pretty mean things when we were fighting that one time, but I can't remember any off the top of my head.

Uhhhhh Ian, but he'd hate it. Erik maybe?

I think probably I was by myself, standing dramatically with my coat blowing in the wind. That one's for you, Kat.

No, for it is daytime.

Phone, because I use my ipod waaay more.
12. Is your mom a better driver or your dad?
My mom, but my dad is a more...exciting driver.
13. What did you do the last time you hung out with your boyfriend?
We broke up and then played chess at Coffee Xchange. The last thing I did with my girlfriend was...go to Coffee Xchange...hmmm.

Pizza Hut.

I don't know, they all kissed well.

Reading a lot? Looking nice when I'm pretty sure I don't?

When I was a kid it was my eyes and my habit of not talking to people, now I guess I get shit from my friends about various stupid things I say?
18. What was the last food item craving you had?
Garlic bread, french toast, pumpkin pie. The first was not satisfied, and the latter were satisfied unsatisfactorily.
19. What's your favorite kind of food out of Chinese, Mexican or Italian?

Gah, I don't know, my mom's cell? I haven't memorized a number in ages, I just put them in my phone.
21. Are your Christmas lights up yet? If not, when are you putting them up?
Not yet, and I'm not sure when my dad's going to do it.
22. Which band have you not seen in concert yet that you really, really want to?
Gogol Bordello, The Ghost Mice, and/or Electric Six. All three bands have been to Tucson fairly regularly and each time I've missed them due to lack of funds or not being 21.
23. Describe the thing you regret most that you've done under the influence of alcohol?
ahahaha see the panic attack entry of last year. I do not have entertaining drunken exploits, I have unhappy ones.
24. The last time someone called you a bitch & meant it, did you deserve it? What'd you do?
I dunno, I don't think anyone's called me a bitch and meant it. Hopefully it can stay that way?
25. What's your biggest complaint about the opposite sex?
Penises. The fact that most men have them means that I can't date most men, because presumably we'd have sex at some point and I am not a fan of that bit of their anatomies. YAAAAY TMI.
