Being cold is awesome, guys! Seriously!
I've posted a couple of my nonfiction essays on my
dee-ay, if anyone's interested.
Here's the aquired experience one about going to Forever 21, and
here's the one about being eighteen, which I referenced in
this post. God damn that was a sentence filled with links.
I switched the plot I'm using for NaNoWriMo from this story about severe physical deformations and escaping your small hometown, to a story about a girl's school and magic and childhood. I want it to be very Guillermo Del Toro. With that switch, I'm suddenly excited about the project rather than filled with trepidation, so I think I made the right decision. Haven, Arizona will have to wait for another time.
In any case I've decided that I'm going to stay up all night planning this story while I'm still enthusiastic, and I've got an absurdly caffeinated beverage and some leftover chinese food to keep me company.
So naturally having decided to concentrate on this planning, I'm posting on el-jay. SMART.
Is it totally annoying that I'm talking about the NaNo on here constantly now? It's kind of really interesting to me right now but I can shut the hell up if you guys are sick of hearing about it. In any case you'll hear about some other things this weekend, depending on how interesting my weekend is.
Back to writing about characters and wishing the notebook I originally wrote this shit in wasn't in Phoe~nix! (this was my attempt to make a visual representation of a sing-song tone, but I have this feeling that it didn't work).
