Hoard
Having a look around what I have that I can sell. It seems a lot more than I thought and from a cursory glance at eBay worth a few pounds at least.
I should probbaly sell some.
Even if I just sold all my DVDs at £1 each I would get more than £100. It's no wonder I never had any money when I was working full time.
I have bought one DVD in the last year or so and at £7.99 I thought that was a bit pricey. Used to go to HMV and get the three for £20 deals or sometimes the however many for £50 ones far too often. And I already gave many DVDs to charity or sold them on Amazon last time I was strapped for cash.
I think I spent my first few pays when I moved to London on the complete Professionals on VHS before VHS went all kerpooey. I gave most of those away ages ago.
Anyway, perhaps the dream I had the other day featuring a dog-headed dragon flying from a volcano was just my subconcious reminding me I have quite a hoard of shiny things that might be better off with other people. The volcano might explode quite soon. I have no idea if that works as a metaphor but blame my subconscious.
Maybe I will keep some of the shiny things for a while longer.
I am less worried about finance anyway, I just have to have a big jumble sale and hope people buy all my stuff.
