Time ground in a mortar
It's strange what took me 2 hours to paint in egg tempera would have taken me only 15 minute max in acrylic. This is where the mediums majorly differ. I'm captivated by the process and absorbed in re-learning. I haven't challenged myself in this way in very long while. My second run worked out much better. I cleaned out and re-organized my studio so I can work on this in there. Which was fortunate, I was able to be messy without Ted looking like he was going to have an aneurysm:) He even sat on the step and visited with me.
Yesterday Ted and I went to see "Quantum of Solace" which was absolutely great. I've always been really ambivalent about Bond movies, but I'm kind of obsessed right now. Especially the intros. Speaking of intros, Battlestar Galactica is starting up again. I think I am going to go to the Baghdad theater showing. Oh geekiness is good.
