+ my roommate and i have essentially agreed to not talk until thursday in the interest of getting out work done and actually listening to each other, instead of being ridiculously distracted. it's not really happening much, but it was a funny thought (this is a positive not because i don't like talking to rach but because we're a) being silly and b) being really good influences to each other. huzzah!)
+ i'm banking on a character's death within the next 20 pages of this book. if i'm right and he dies i might be able to [make a really sketchy shitty argument and] get out of reading the last 300 pages. . . score.
