Well, it's just past 10PM and I should turn this off and go to bed. I wouldn't be up on it so late if work computer would just let me access facebook again (event planning posts), but alas! It doesn't, so I couldn't post after work when I had time (too much info to just phone type), so I did it after dinner.
Since it's been a few days, here's a grateful list, maybe more than 5, maybe not. I haven't written it yet.
1. Not having to cook for dinner, really. It was loads of veggies - some sort of dark chickpea spicy dish my MIL made for me yesterday, mater paneer (it looks easy, I gotta learn how to make this), salad, and bbq pineapple for dessert. Oh, and a fruit smoothly (or sludgy, as Sunny called it).
2. Good weather today instead of stormy weather earlier this week.
3. Having time to plan some events and sending emails. Here's hoping they work out with minimal stress.
4. Sleeping in my own bed and a house with air conditioning.
5. Kitty Snuggles!
6. Having a reason to light a candle to the gods. Everyone hope for good news next week!
7. The phenomena that one doesn't notice their own weight loss. I had someone else tell me it looked like my pants were going to fall off. I still see the bulges, so I guess I'm the same shape but maybe smaller.
... my list stalled out b/c I'm being distracted by LOST. I guess that's a sign.
