I think I used up all my daily allotted brain power sending off job applications to everyone in Canada hiring in my field. This does not mean I would move, but I wanted to just do as much as I could so I'd not have any regrets. Also, this was more than you might guess. What's your guess? Answer under the cut. :P


I sent away 7 job applications. Most are 1 year FT positions, 2 are PT. GTA (2), Ottawa (2), Halifax (2), Kingston (1).

made lunch for Sunny and I

moved boxes of paper to their proper place from where they were delivered

accepted and put in storage the Staples order

75% cleaned off two desks from Black Wednesday (when a department was laid off)

sorted my catalogues into ones I order from and ones I don't but think would be good to have on hand

contacted someone about a WSIB form (couldn't find it in the system)

emailed some people

proofed a business card order and requested changes

finished a manga while on lunch

updated the phone list and the seating plan

IG mod stuff

updated CV/resume after marketing person & Sunny looked at it and gave good feedback

updated my foods in LoseIt

Let's see if I can get anything else done today.

I can add:

updated the "how to obtain a WSIB" form and filed it

printed more papers for taking messages and go those ready

completed a survey online as part of my way to earn spending monies

added another note to the "Office Assistant Manual" I created

If it's not raining after work, there's the run/walk club with chiro. Let's see how I do. I'm of mixed feelings about how I hope the weather is. :/
