Today was slightly odd. I managed to do a little schoolwork that I had...does anyone know if critics feel obliged to write in special incomprehensible critical language? Becuase some of the sentences they fired out have sixteen clauses, half a dozen parentheses and a fair scattering of colons of both normal and semi variety. And while my own grammar has a tendency to take random holidays, I don't expect people (read: already stressed students) to read and make sense of it, much less pay for the privilege!

Mummy and Daddy took David down to the surgery, (third doctor, third diagnosis) which took from about 5.30 to 7. While they were away I started by tidying up a few coat hangers, moved on to my bedroom and ended up redding out the TV room, the kitchen, the breakfast room and a bit of this one, as well as setting the table and cleaning the upstairs bathroom. Consequently, am feeling useful ;) *polishes halo* Also put Ruth's saucer in the dishwasher *growls*

I've just discovered 20_rings , a new, rather interesting-looking little community of LotR fanfiction. Follow links from other sites is the best plan, apparently: I haven't read much of their stuff, but at least the title doesn't involve scariness like some of the others I've seen... I like the format, and some of the words suggested have been tickling at the muse. Great. =)
