'Cause I felt like it =)
Your Brain is 73.33% Female, 26.67% Male
Your brain leans female
You think with your heart, not your head
Sweet and considerate, you are a giver
But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!
What Gender Is Your Brain? So not right...definitely more boy than that ;)
Anyway. Memberisation went well, despite Saturday-night wobblies. I'm still me, after all...they didn't confiscate my brain ;) Caleb is back, but Bethany was off. He insisted he still has chicken pox, and told me that, "Mummy said dat I was to say thank-you for the dard!" He's such a pet.
We went to the Lyric last night and saw The Glass Menagerie. It was wonderful, amazing and brilliant-we were in the second row and it's a tiny little theatre so you could almost reach across and touch the stage. The play was so much more moving on stage than when I read it-I wasn't the only one almost in tears by the end of it. I'd forgotten how different the theatre is to the cinema: it's so much more intimate and you don't notice that the set stays the same, or that one actor isn't doing very much...you have to keep your eye on the person talking just a few feet away from you. The American accents were pretty good and the guy who played Tom had some very...interesting...methods of moving about the stage. That would be the best place to have a summer job-moving sets, and then maybe getting to watch some of the play. Course, the guys eyeing you up wouldn't be so much fun, but it never is. Boys are stupid. Throw rocks at them.
This morning we got our statements of entry for June, and I ended up checking about six people's =) They were pretty confusing, what with the whole cash-in thing. I asked Mr. Stewart about the practical, and yes, the plonker booked us into the session that is just before M2. Ger-ate.
David's still really sick...I haven't seen him this bad in years. Hopefully I won't come down with the mumps-that's all we need. Doesn't look like he'll be better in time for us to do anything for my birthday, but that's okay.
I've been managing to get some writing done recently, but I'm starting to think I should just aim for getting the next part up within a year of the last one. I didn't used to understand how people could leave their stories un-updated for that long but...I takeses it all back. Speaking of writing, I got my English coursework back. Nothing constructive whatsoever, of course, but I'm hoping that's a good sign. I'll work on it tomorrow, maybe, cause I'm SO not going into school for three periods in which we'll do almost nothing, particularly since there's no bus home.
Oh, I feel sick...it's that darned flutter in my stomach. It comes up with the oddest things sometimes.
Aw, cute new little icons in the security menu =)
