Relive it.

Well, not dying anymore. Due partly in fact to hydrating constantly and having to pee every half hour, but hey, whatever works.

I did murder my phone though. In quite the hilarious, oh-so-myself way. I dropped it in a bowl of spaghettios. Sad thing is I didn't notice it for a good couple minutes. Hey, I was busy getting ready for work! But I did find out that phones aren't too fond of tomato and cheese sauce. Hmm...possibly due to tomato sauce being acidic? So, I can only send texts now, and I practically have to beat it into oblivion in order to get it to charge. I'm thinking it's new phone time.

Birthday celebrations start tomorrow. I'll definitely appreciate it more now that I'm feeling so much better. I'm really excited. Primarily just to have a happy day, with no worries, frustrations, or stress. I very, very much need it.

By the way, I can't stand when men wear fake diamond earrings. I mean, studs I like. Hoops are way sexy. Heck, throw on a bandanna and do the whole pirate thing, yarr. But ew, cutesy little diamonds? Here, just have some of my dangle earrings while you're at it. Maybe I just like my men as men, and not the whole metrosexual thing. If I wanted to be with someone who dressed like a woman, shit, I'll just go be with a woman. Also, strangely enough, I'm not a big-muscles gal. I like the more subtle muscles, the ones that you feel. It makes it a little more exciting, cause only you know they're there. Don't know why I got off on all that. Probably all the weird people I see all day.

Ha! Speaking of work. I essentially let a woman walk out with $17,000 worth of books. Yes, that is thousands. This is why I didn't want to do corporate sales. Anyway, the woman basically gave me the runaround and told me anything to get me out of her hair. So I chased people down all around GMU on the phone, wasting a couple hours, to figure out how to get paid. Now Catherine is coming in tomorrow to "show me how to ring up corporate sales". Please.

Then, I find out just how much Matt checked out. PICs haven't been done in months. Months. There are fucking 130 pages of PICs to do. Which, basically, there is a discrepancy in our system somewhere, so we go on the floor, count the number on hand, then correct it in the system. 130 fucking pages! Then there's Paperchase. That hasn't been touched in months either. So there's a ton of shit to be dumpstered, even more to be put on sale, and now there's just finding time to do it all. It's not that I mind doing it, I actually really enjoy being busy. But goddamnit, do not slack off on shit for months and leave it for someone else to just find eventually.

Huh, wow. Guess I needed to vent a bit. I honestly deal with this just fine, I only start feeling frustrated when I can't talk about it. I should really try getting to bed, it's a long (but eventually fun) day tomorrow.
