With regard to "Oxygen," I was rather put off by the message. It was delivered very bluntly; one should know that any system driven to its extremes will not be good news. One has only to look at Venezuela to see the consequences of socialism driven to extremes. "Animal Farm" was a warning about that. "Everyone is equal, but some are 'more' equal than others." So those who say that all capitalism is bad, and socialism is the answer to bliss... well, that's wrong, too. Moderation in everything is the key, and this was not explored at all, it was just a message that capitalism is the worst of all evils. Try again, there are plenty more evils out there.
"Extremis," I'm holding off judgement on because it's part of the story. Still... Missy! Michelle Gomez's performance was amazing. Begging the Doctor to spare her, to teach her how to be good, etc. (although there were former Masters who did the same, and it always turned sour), her literally starting to cry when she realizes he's going to pull that lever, and saying "I am your friend," and then.... her reaction when the guards start to move her "body" very roughly. Wow! Like I said though, I'm going to hold off my reaction until after this group of episodes is done.
I agree, the Doctor is always a force to be reckoned with; he's dangerous!
