Summer Holiday - Week 2
Monday - Cycled in to the cinema to watch Harry Potter. So that's that over and done with.
Tuesday - Probably spent time knitting or shopping with Mother.
Wednesday - THEATRE!!!!!!!!!
Went to London to see Much Ado About Nothing with DAVID TENNANT!!!!! Oh, and Catherine Tate as well.
Absolutely fab! The staging was very clever with just four columns that moved on a rotating stage. The timing of the actors was just perfect. Especially, the two eaves-dropping scenes were hilarious.
Lovely birthday present.
We had got up to London with time to spare, so popped down to Trafalgar Square. The Olympic countdown clock seemes to be a bit wrong.
And saw a guy making giant soap bubbles.
The weather was brilliant. Not so the next day.
Thursday - Made strawberry jam. This is to put in the Horticultual show. I am not actually going to be there, so am a bit restricted to what I can prepare before.
Friday - Not much. Probably knitting.
Saturday - Brother and SiL came with nephew and other family members. They also brought a very young kitten that was the last surviving of a litter that the mother abandoned. Sweet little thing. Not sure if she will survive though.
Sunday - Recovery from Saturday.
