Summer holiday - day 22
This was at the beginning of the day just before I moved the hoop.
And this shows how much was left to do.
One final hoop move.
Just a few stiches left.
And it's done.
And this is the back. I was taught to make the back as neat as the front, but this one is a bit messy.
Now I have to wash it and hope I can get a frame tomorrow.
There was a slight panic earlier when I broke the needle and we had to search through the house for a replacement. We have plenty of needles, but one for cross stitch has to be blunter than normal ones. Got one in the end.
Also, our cat, Libby, brought me a present of a nearly dead mouse. She laid it on the floor and backed off, so it was obviously a present. Luckily the poor thing didn't live long. I know Libby loves me, she doesn't have to show it with small furry presents.
