I'm filling this bit up quite nicely now. With such a mix of colours and just odd stiches everywhere in this bit, my practice is to fill in a stitch near the top and then see where else that colour is used. That's why I'm going all over the place at the moment, but the unstitched bits are shrinking.
I also made Victoria sandwich and scones for the show. I accidently discovered a good trick with scones when we did them with the children at school. We had run out of self raising flour and so had to use plain with baking powder. They rose phenomenally! Now I use plain flour with baking powder and no one has complained yet.
