Summer holiday - day 7
Spent quite a bit of time stitching today. Unfortunately, the cat decided to join me on the sofa that is my sewing corner, and curled up just where I like to rest the chart. Made things a bit awkward, but I couldn't move the cat.
I had an interesting email conversation with a friend about something we are singing this summer in Salisbury Cathedral. It's a Purcell piece, but he wrote two with very similar titles (only one word different). The one on the music list is seven minutes long and mainly solo work. When I listened to a recording I thought it was a strange choice for the choir. My friend thinks we are doing the other one which is only three minutes long and much more choral. It's being checked as I want to make sure I'm learning the right one.
