Travels in Scotland
Posting from Oban Backpackers hostel here.
I'm in Oban for the annual TARS (The Arthur Ransome Society) AGM. Will be back late Tuesday, so will not be able to see Doctor Who before then.
Train journey up went OK. I read getting on for half of "The End of Mr Y", which is turning out to be very interesting, but I'm wondering where it will go as I've read a novel's worth of story right now.
Been out to Iona today. Six hours travelling for three hours on the island. I've heard in the past all about this community on Iona and had great visions of a complex with people all working together. Didn't see any of that, just a tourist attraction of an abbey. Oh well, I've been there.
Been very lucky with the weather. It waited until we were back this evening before raining.
