Annoying Guest, Amusing Guys
Hamada Britney was terrifically annoying, but the guys were hilarious! Glad this was subbed. XD (I found this Hamada Britney person annoying even in that subbed clip from HnA - the one with the mystery boxes and Aibu Saki and Nino having to touch the octopus.)
From the very beginning of the episode, Baru had this annoyed/uncomfortable/"what the hell" look on his face. I don't recall him showing such an expression from the start of Janiben before. XD
Dunno why, but I just find Ryo's way of asking how old she is with that incredulous expression funny. :P
And the way he told her to just sit down reminded me rather of MatsuJun's telling her not to come any closer in the HnA ep I mentioned above. ahahahah
Several shots of Baru's hilarious expressions. I was just so fascinated by how he didn't bother to hide his distaste/apathy at all. lol
When she told Baru to "be more positive", he actually snapped at her. I thought it was actually rather rude, but kinda funny given the situation. ^^;
They discussed "gyaru" slang and Ryo showed a remarkable ability for guessing the meanings. He felt dumb about it at first though. XDD
But he rapidly gets into it...
As he got more enthusiastic, his pose changed. He went from leaning back like Baru to leaning forward. XDD
This one was funny: raigan. She said the gan part is for ganbatte. Ryo was all "Raishuu? Rainen?" and he looked SO enthusiastic all of a sudden.
Then Baru guessed, "Raisei." Ryo gasped and said, "Sou ya!" His expressionnnnnnnn. XDDD ahahahaha (See the two screencaps below.)
Baru's "delight" at getting one correct. :P
Maru and Ryo just LOL-ed at him.
Next they talk about how her boyfriend broke up with her because it was exhausting being with her. Mama Hina lectures her...
She says she likes manly, bossy men - "like those two in the centre". She wants to be able to go up to the guy and have him pet her head like he would a pet dog. (I think she's crazy.) So she goes up to Baru... and he just stares at her. XDD
Hamada Britney goes on to say that she has a lot of girl friends but men won't come near her. I love Hina's response.
ROFL.
She also says she wants to get married someday... to a good-looking guy... and she wants to be a celebrity or something. So Hina says, looking at the other three, what does she think of today's line-up? She mulls over it for a moment or two and then says: Murakami-san.
*cracks up*
Baru decides to support her cause: "Murakami Britney."
Hina declares, "Zettai YADA!"
He has Toda Erika, why would he want Hamada Britney? XDD
Baru adds that Hina would be perfect for her because he's totally sadistic and all. XD
Hina then tries to shove her onto Ryo.
Ryo refuses point-blank: "I'd hate that. Murakami can have her."
*cracks up some more*
Hina suddenly notices Maru's expression.

And Ryo tooootally cracks up. (Odd, lately I seem to be watching quite a few vids in which Ryo is unusually chirpy or hyper or smiley...)
Lastly, it seems that Hamada Britney can cook and so she prepares a meal for them - of which the strangest thing is a burger... with melted chocolate right int he middle.
I was so tickled by how Baru said, "We'll eat, say what we think, then get rid of them and end [the episode]." Like he just really wanted to end this filming with her. (And from the looks of the it the others agreed with him.)
They decided that instead of all of them trying all four items, they'd each try one. Hina and Baru quickly claim the more innocuous-looking dishes. Hina says Ryo should try the burger. Ryo really really doesn't want it. XDD His desperate "onegai, onegai!" was hilariously cute.
(In the end poor Maru had to try the burger.)
Very irritating guest, but I have to say that if it wasn't for her, this episode may not have been as fun - especially since they were missing Yoko, Tacchon and Yasu. Baru and Ryo were the most interesting and funny ones here. XD
(She seems like exactly the kind of person I would not get along with at all. Her voice and mannerisms grate on me. So I rather sympathised with Baru most of the time. ahahah)
