Hello Goodbye PV

... I'm trying to think of what to say about Kamisen's new PV.

And none of it is particularly good.

Except that Okada is his usual handsome self in it. hahahahahah

Right. Let's get down to my few comments. In point form, because I really don't know how to expand on them...
Positives first.
+ I like the song. :)
+ The colour/contrast adjustments were nicely done. That slighty gritty, grungy feel without overdoing it.
+ Kamisen's styling was pretty good too. Good thing they were wearing some colour to stand out better against the background.

.
Now, the negatives.
- I really don't get the concept. Spirit was a slightly dull PV, but at least I sensed a concept in it. (But maybe I'd need translations to fully get this PV. Maybe.)
- Too many shots of the masked musicians and the useless jackalope. What was the point of musicians in luchador masks and the jackalope on the table? I really don't get it.
- Kamisen were seated for way too much time in this PV. They really should've stood up and moved around more.
- Why - and this really bothers me - is the 360° dolly track visible in so many shots?? I know 95% of those who watched the PV probably wouldn't even notice or care about the track because Kamisen are the focus in the shots, but it bugs me terribly. Isn't it normal practice to angle your camera so that the track is not noticeable? I can't decide if it was intentional or if they were just banking on the speed of the shots and the guys in the centre of the frame to distract the viewers' attention. I rather think it was intentional... There's just no way you could "accidentally" leave the track so visible in soooo many shots. But I simply don't see the point of leaving it so visible. I'd really like to hear the director's explanation for that...

In conclusion: I like the song, but not the PV. In fact, I'd even prefer Spirit to this one. :/ .
