(no subject)
Hello, neglected livejournal. I'm sorry, but I've been spending time with that younger, more exciting and fast-paced social networking site. You're just...aging.
I have so many things that I haven't posted that I probably should just give up and not even bother trying to do it all.
Other than finally making it home (my company took away another day off on Saturday; this has been happening a lot lately), the highlight of my day was buying my best friend's birthday present at the Orlando airport. They had a Gryffindor travel mug at the Universal store, and since she can't go to Harry Potter World (I realize this is not the name, but that's basically what it is) with me in September, I thought it would be a great gift, but I needed to check with her to see if she'd use it.
Me: Hello. Do you drink coffee on your way to work in the mornings?
Friend: Uh...sometimes?
Me: Okay, great, thanks. See you tomorrow night!
I'm also excited that tomorrow, I get to be both a hermit and a social person, meaning I can lay around in bed until about 5 pm, which is when I will go pretend to be a normal human being. The best of both worlds.
And now that it took me about two minutes to remember how to spell "worlds" (thanks alcohol!), I will go to bed, even though I hate going to bed this early on an off day.
