The Interwebs Made Me Read It
Bleach 364 came out super early. As you may have heard, things actually happen in this one. What a change of pace!
The Good (or good-ish):
1 - Espadas number 2 and 3 aren't dead. I'm not really attached to them as characters but I hated those lame-ass battles. Yes, someone lost a limb (OT: is it just me or is losing arms in Bleach beginning to look a little like losing eyes in CLAMP) but these fights were basically of the "I tag you" - "No, I tag you back!" variety. It was just so lame for them to go out that pathetically.
2 - Wonderweiss! Where has this crazy man been? I'm still confused as to where he's supposed to sit in the line o' power, but we may actually learn something about him.
3 - Vizards!!!! About damn time! I have missed them so. And the story has been needing a serious style injection.
The Bad:
1 - Way to punk out Ukitake and Shunsui, KT. Seriously, I am not pleased.
2 - Kira's back to the emo after his bit of battle ruthlessness. But perhaps we would all would run back to the doldrums if we had spent the last, I dunno, hour or so trying to heal a friends missing...everything on that one side.
The Ugly
1 - We finally learn about that eye thing that helped take Aizen and his merry band of traitors to Huecu Mundo. The things we learn are that it is super hideous and its breath reeks of death. Ewww...
2 - Has Tousen's jaw always looked like that? It looks really off to me.
Some people are already begging KT's forgiveness after doubting him. I am not convinced that the epic fail has passed. But I can say that I will be reading the next chapter out of something other than twisted obligation.
