We've been spinning at the speed of sound -

Today was excellent. Woke up, wrote a little on the short story I'm working on (little old lady knitting shrouds for the people she lives with; the shrouds reflect their lives as they are lived), guarded (where the guy at Ben West didn't want to give me the key because the other one was out), ate brunch & finished Speaker for the Dead, worked on Engineering, got fed up, went to the gym, felt accomplished, shower, saw Sarah (my roommate for next year; turned 19 today) outside Sharples, sat and chatted about High King's Tomb (which she is just starting), swimmers were playing soccer/frisbee thing, Derrick came over and introduced himself, soaked up the sun, ate dinner while listening to Cantatrix (our medieval a cappella group), gave a lecture on book abuse, epic-ly stole people's shoes, had my shoes stolen, and stuck our groups' shoes in a tree, and then went shopping - Borders (with gift cards!), and Charlotte Russe - where I bought a too-expensive but fun spring dress.

And now, I think I can get back to that engineering...

homework, guarding, writing, shopping, engineering, friends, study break, boy, books, a cappella
