happy guy fawkes day! and happy not-doing-work-in-seminar day!
So... swing is amazing. Though I suppose I have to qualify that: swing is awesome when the person you're dancing with knows what he's (she's) doing. The lead knows what they're doing. yes. heterenormativity, bah!
I GET TO LEARN HOW TO WALTZ TOMORROW AND THEN THERE'S A FORMAL DANCE NEXT (?) WEEKEND WITH POUFFY DRESSES AND TUXES AND DINNER AND WALTZING. *excited*
Scheduling. Will kill me. (they put out the materials for us to schedule ourselves to pieces for next semester, today) So: I can either take the next engineering class and Intro Education, or drop one or the other to take my foundation drawing class. Neither Engin nor Educ meet at a different time, and the studio art conflicts with both. I'll probably be able to take Psychology, maybe a history class - "History of Reading" looks entertaining, probably Physics E&M, and hope it makes sense this time around (didn't try to test out; didn't have the requisite AP score anyway)
And... I think I may end up only minoring in Engin, but it seems like I should still try to squish it in, but I didn't get an art class this semester, and I'm seriously starting to consider art ed as a special major... because little people + art would be seriously entertaining. Of course, that means I need to learn how to draw... But I know I don't want to drop Edu.
...and if I drop Engin, I won't have any classes until 10:30...
