Break

I felt a bit like one of those rubber bouncy balls this break.  It was fantastic - I got lots of time at home and lots of time at school and both of those are all sorts of good stuff - but each bounce was about an hour drive.  So... yeah ( Read more... )

It would be better for my fundraising plans if I could live in my summer abode for the two weeks left in May, but it looks rather unlikely since I have friends getting married the weekend after graduation, and I've been invited to hang with college friends in a beach house for the week leading up to that. So it looks like I'd need to crash somewhere else the last week and a half of May if I couldn't live in the Philly apartment.

I've had people offering me a place in Annapolis for the whole time I need, but I think the rent for that would be more expensive and there's fewer opportunities for fun and volunteer experiences there, although maybe more for odd jobs, so I'm still leaning towards Philly at the moment.

Would it be possible for me to move my stuff in to the Philly apartment as soon as I graduate, even if I'm not living there that first week? I'd pay my share of rent for all the time my stuff was sitting there, obviously.

Also, should I talk to Will & AC on facebook or something and introduce myself? If I'm going to be living with them, even for a short time, I'd like to work out ground rules and stuff. They can be ones that everyone living there next year draws up together or ones specifically for the summer situation, doesn't matter to me. I just think that it should get hammered out what food if any is communal (milk or whatever), how long dishes should be allowed to sit undone, etc.
