So I went dancing last night. Naomi and Nick came down with me, and the Skuykill was moving faster than it usually does, and it was a really fast drive. Which I suppose is kind of good, as Nick and Naomi tend to have very little in common.
I feel like after the past week, my legs might have been on dance-overload, which was a pity. But it was great fun, and we went down to get gelato, and blood orange was not as good as I'd hoped, but the dark chocolate overload is still spectacular.
Alex may have come to gelato with us because I may have invited him and we may have attempted to dance on the floor of the gelato shop which may be made out of tile which may have led to me (almost) faceplanting on the floor.
And... he looked me up on FB. :3
Also last night I was invited to go play with circus aerials on Saturday (somewhere where there's actually a trained pro, so we probably won't all die) and to help out with EYH (Expanding your horizons), a program to get girls (from Chester) interested in the sciences. So I get to run an engineering station for part of the day! (And this building bridges or towers out of toothpicks and marshmellows will probably be the most strenuous engin thing I do all semester. whoot!)
and the sunshine today. is bright and warm and has almost dried up all of the goo in the grass and I think I may actually be able to walk from my dorm to the dining hall without covering my shoes in mud! (Current score since break ended: Mertz field, 3, Allison, 0) I did all my reading outside today and it was really nice - AC and Will and Amber all came and joined me, and we managed to find a mostly-non-muddy place to drowse, and it was utterly lovely. Spring!
