Really really. I did.
Dactyl hunt was excellent. None of the joints I had fixed came apart again. Of course, all the joints I hadn't fixed did give. (and one of those had been hastily patched at least last year with a MAGIC MARKER. Oh, Psi Phi. Your nerdiness will never cease to astonish me... especially seeing as you can't fix things. (One of the presidents, who likes making the college give us money, wants us me to rebuild them for next year. And that's a lot of PVC. Maybe over the summer or something. But parents are coming down tomorrow, and I may get Robert & Dad to help me fix up the three pairs that got busted.) The cat killed me a couple of times (hullo, Herbert) and decided that she would just continue killing me until I reacted more than reaching out and touching my dactyl. (I hadn't fed her, obviously. Oops.) There were a couple of fencers who were being absolutely ridiculous (read: throwing themselves flat) to avoid being killed - I was very impressed. Rhiannon and her ball python, Chemie (this is probably spelled wrong, but it's how I would spell it if it were a german name, and it's french. *fail*) were the oracle, and Chemie added lots to the atmosphere :)
Swim practice killed me a little bit; fencing surprisingly revived me. (Though the footwork was particularly brutal today, I still kind of laugh at the people who claim that footwork twice a week for less than a half hour will actually get you into shape.) Sirkka and I worked on poking the wall and working on the 'Bruce-step' - we had the U FL coach come up, as he was our coach's coach when our coach was in college (yes, that sentence is absolutely fine XD) - and he seems to think that the entire sport is changing and blah blah blah (I did NOT like Bruce. Think Nemo. except without pretending that fish are friends... rarg. I like coaches to at least pretend that they CARE.) and so he taught us... a backwards floating step? Is odd.
Bouted a bit, (lost, but closer :) and had random political discussions. Bah. Politics. Watching the vp debate was almost physically painful. Yup, I'm in a liberal school. And we can see that VPs are obviously just political nominations. But it doesn't mean we have to like it... (the discussion at fencing got interesting when Sirkka randomly assumed I was pro-choice. I love the expression on people's faces when they feel the need to backpedal away from offending someone. XD) We concluded that politics were dumb.
Swimmers had a nonalcoholic event tonight - the deans have taken away our priviledge of having drinking parties on campus, so we bought dinner at Qdoba on the school. Worked out well... just odd, that they used Anne as a 'symbol' of the team...
Okay, okay, back to Wilhelm Meister. I'm going to try to get 100 pages in tonight... then there'll only be 200 more!
