I have *finally* got my exam results. The web portal was down so they had to email every student with their grades, which must have been taxing. So...
English Literature, eg the grades that don't actually count.
*The Eighteenth century: Restoration to Romantics - 58. 2.2 or a C. I'm actually surprised that I passed any of my English modules, and as this is my lowest score overall I'm quite pleased. :D
*English Renaissance Epic - 61. Low 2.1 or a B. I must have done well in my exam as thanks to handing it in late I got a 48 in the coursework. I completely rambled my way through that paper. :)
*Nineteenth Century Novel - 63. 2.1 or a B.
The scary real exams, otherwise known as Classical Studies
*Greek and Roman Medicine - 61. Low 2.1 or a B. SO disapointed in myself for that. I know it sounds really snobby, but a low 2.1 for my exams that count toward my degree just doesn't cut it. I want to come out ideally with a mid to high 2.1, so I'm quite scared by this! At least it isn't a 2.2 though...
*Greek Drama - 63. 2.1 or a B. Wow. I got a 72 in the coursework so something must have gone a bit wrong! I don't know how you work out what you got in your exams though, I just know the coursework is 1/3 and the exam is 2/3 of your final mark. Any lovely mathematicians (I'm looking at you Steve...) want to tell me how to do it? :) I was hoping for a first in this, but it doesn't really matter because...
*Ancient Epic - 71. 1st or an A. OMFG WTF YAY!!! I may have been *hoping* for a first in one of my modules, but I never thought I'd actually get one! I'm so thrilled! This is the first time I've ever gotten a first overall for a module, though I've come close. :D
I think that puts me somewhere around a mid 2.1 for my overall degree. Well, half of it. Hope I do this well next year for the rest of my part 2 modules!!
