serenity came across the water
a single sound broke the silence
a thunderous clap
ringing from the water to the treeline
as an ancient trees roots came from underneath it
and the ancient giant crashed into the river
with no bodies around to hear it
the tree came to end it's own life
alone
in the serenity of the flawless reflections
it died alone and not a person would know it was dead
the tree had ended it's own life
years of seeing change and the forrest around it fade
was enough
enough to cause anything concious or not
to take the thought and lonliness and dispatch it
along with everything else it seemed to know
