Fueling at Sea
nothing like spending 5 hours in the howling blowing cold wind and spray on the top deck of the boat, watching fuel trickle into the boats tanks, then going on watch for a further 4 hours, to only have 6 hours of sleep before another day just as long...
It occurs to me that I joined the US coast guard, and I'm neither near the US, nor guarding a coast....
