Off Of My Soapbox...
So...
I know that I have been bitching for weeks and weeks about how bad Twilight is and how much I hate it. Well. I still hate the book. I can't get passed her bad grammar and spelling, but the movie was awesome. It did the Vampire Romance Genre perfectly. I've never seen anything like it before, there were a few things I had a problem with. I still think that the whole sparkly vampire thing is a bit on the weird side, I personally think he should have burst into flames. I also think there should have been way more kissing and I don't like that fact that he suddenly and almost instantaneously liked her, out of nowhere. There should have been more to it.
She also could have had other responses to certain things, but the cover-ups were great and she responded the way that an average, teenage girl should behave. She was not at all as vapid and shallow as she was in the book. I think that it was decent. I liked it.
Now... I could read the book if I could get over her "reads like teenage girl fanfic" with bad spelling and grammar errors. But... I'm not sure that I can. However, the movie was good and if they keep this up, I should like the rest of them.
P.S: The new Harry Potter movie looks amazing. I can't wait till it comes out.
