Ok. It's been almost a month since my last post!
On April 13, I had a phone interview with delta. On the 14th, they emailed me to tell me i was hired. YAY! I'll be teaching two courses of Business Ethics in the fall.
I had a great visit to MSU and will be going there for my PhD.... in risk of repeating myself, they'll apply up to 21 of my credits here to my PhD, which means I could be done with my course work in a year and a half ( although the language requirement could take longer).
Also, I talked to someone who happens to be one of the decisive people on the hiring commitee for the Phil. department at CMU and he said he'd hire me now, but given my lack of teaching experience, I wouldn't meet the qualifications... He did say, however, that after I've done some time at Delta, to get in touch with him. That's big for me. I'm super excited.... I'm not expecting to actually get the job.... it seems unlikely that there will be open positions, etc. by the time I'm ready to apply, but it's reassuring that someone would want me!
