Sonnet

Okay, now for something not play related.

Here's a sonnet I wrote for English 101. I don't think Mr. Morrison got it. What do you think?

To the Bridegroom

How often your eyes do gaze into mine,
and see and seek to erase all my pain
truly concerned, as the branch with the vine
an unfaltering love which ne’er will wane.

How tenderly you wipe away each tear
as you hold me closely in soft embrace.
The warmth of your presence driving out fear
loneliness and sorrow in turn give chase.

Your word is enough to send away storms.
Smiles on your face lighten the skies.
At the touch of your hand, all my heart warms,
At your turning away, all my soul dies.

Ever my life’s solace found at your feet
Once I rest in cold ground, at last, we’ll meet.
