I was looking at the the US cover art over at Leaky and listening to PotterCast, and I had a thought ...
What if the Veil in the Ministry of Magic is not the only one - what if there are several veils in different parts of the wizarding world, and what if the various archways form a colosseum of sorts beyond the Veil, and that's where Harry is battling Lord Voldemort.
No idea if this actually means anything or not, but I think there might be a connection between the archway in the Ministry of Magic and the archways of that colosseum thingy on the front cover. Hmm.
