5 Things I've come to love (or love more) after seeing Life on Mars
A meme of sorts
1) My bellbottom pants. Nuff said.
2) My record player. I've always had a soft spot for it, since I have very fond childhood memories of certain records I used to play over and over. But now I'm reembracing record!love.
3) 70s rock music - I hardly knew any until now, but now I'm filling my iPod with all kinds of goodies
4)David Bowie - I only knew Thurday's Child from a few years back, and I didn't like it. But I've come to really like Life on Mars and Jean Genie, and am looking for more.
5) The Northern accent. That got started with Doctor Who - I'd heard the accent before but I could never pinpoint it. Doctor Who was when I learned what kind of accent it was, and Life on Mars taught be to love it even more. I find myself seeing words like "stuff" and "funny" and hearing them "northern" in my head (if that makes any sence).
