Two down, two to go
Long time, no update ...
Things have been quite mad the last two weeks. Took the first two of my final exams - first one went quite well (the one where I had to play four of the pieces I practiced). Second one went really well - I had to do a speech on some recorder piece. Did one on the "Actus tragicus", a cantata by J.S.Bach (which he wrote when he was 22 ... wah). It's a beautiful cantata with two recorders, two viols, choir and basso continuo (but, as much as I love the piece, I didn't want to stay up until four in the morning working on the speech).
The exam was the next day, and I could have sworn that it was going to be at ten. So I got up extra early, went to the university - only to see that the exam was at one in the afternoon. *headdesk*
I'm really glad those two are over - I'm really pretty beat, with all the teaching and exams going on at the same time. At least I can take a break tomorrow (with just a little practicing) - time to work on my Jack ficathon piece which is long overdue ...
