Damn - I'm really getting into the old Doctor Who. My brother's girlfriend and I have decided that the Third Doctor is rather droolworthy (and funny). Love the Brigadier as well - the way the Doctor and he play off eachother. I really like Jo as well - and Benton. He's just like a big teddy bear (in my opinion).
I wasn't sure if I was going to get into it - but now I'm liking it more and more. I liked "Inferno", "Carnelval of Monsters" "Terror of the Autons". Lovely dialogue - it's fun to see where a lot of the stuff (and attitudes) in the new series come from.
My favourite quote of the day (from Terror of the Autons): "What's wrong with being childish. I like being childish." - The Doctor
Anyway - decided to try an old school drabble for
dw100's challenge this week. Third Doctor and Jo.

“Who was that man?” There was more curiosity than fear in Jo’s voice.
“I have no idea,” the Doctor answered. “But I think it would be wise not to be here when he returns.” He crouched down in front of the door. “Now if I could have some peace and quiet, I might just get us out of here.”
“Doctor-”
“Please Jo, can’t you see I’m - oh.”
Jo smiled as she jiggled the skeleton key in one hand and pushed the back door open with the other.
“Ah yes. That’ll do as well. Come on, then. Let’s get out of here.”
