Today I was picking raspberries in my mother's garden and eating them almost as fast as I was picking. I was just about to pop this one in my mouth when I noticed a small spiral. Upon closer inspection I saw this.
oh, neat. What kind of zoom does it have? I've been reluctant to get a new camera because my old one has a great zoom. But it only has 2.1 megapixels so I'm really considering a new one.
I'm pretty sure it's 3x. I used to have one that had a 10x but I found photos were often pretty blurry out that far so I didn't use it much. 3x works for me. You probably do a lot of wildlife photography though I'm guessing, so that extra zoom might matter more to you.
I do recommend the Canon Elf series (The SD200 to like 800 now) in general though. They seem to come out with new ones a couple times a year, and as a result there is a whole range of of them. You can great the latest and greatest for more $$$ or settle for a model from a year or two ago for much less, and it will still be great. I know a lot of people with the cameras in the SD400-600 range and everyone loves them.
